I recently visited FabLab Kerala in southern India. At first glance, it looks like a typical digital fabrication lab: 3D printers, CNC machines, laser cutters, and electronics workbenches. But spending time there revealed something interesting. The philosophy behind this lab is quite different from many startup-driven innovation hubs.
